Mobile Crane Operation

By achieving a certificate of completion at GSC you will be prepared to sit for the following examinations.

  • National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (CCO)
    • Mobile Crane Operator
    •  

  • Students who successfully complete the Mobile Crane Operations program and successfully pass the NCCCO Written and Practical Exams will be nationally certified crane operators by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators.
    Prerequisites:
    At least one (1) year of verifiable crane, rigging or heavy equipment operator experience required and student must demonstrate specific equipment operation or rigging performance tasks to a school instructor. Or, student may present a letter from a crane operation company on company letterhead stating that they will be immediately hired upon completion of the Mobile Crane Operation training program. If student has no letter, no prior verifiable experience or fails the equipment performance tasks required for admittance, then Heavy Equipment Operations Level 1 must be taken as a prerequisite program.
