Heavy Equipment Operation Level I

Our training programs are designed to provide an introduction to the heavy equipment industry and basic heavy equipment operation.

 

 

Level 1 is designed to provide an introduction to the heavy equipment industry and basic heavy equipment operation. Also, Level I is required for a student to proceed into Level II & III programs. Graduates will receive National Certification from the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER); certificates, transcripts and wallet cards are sent directly to the student, along with registration in NCCER's National Registry. Emphasis is placed on safety and basic operations. Students will receive first aid certification, (CPR inclusive).
Purpose
  • Introduction to the heavy equipment industry.
  • Operation of basic heavy equipment (see equipment list below)
  • Prerequisite for advancing to Levels II & III
  • Provide entry level job opportunities (see employment opportunities)
Prerequisites:
  • Possess valid driver's license
  • Complete Application
  • Be Accepted for Enrollment

Excavation companies, road contractors, grading contractors, highway contractors, residential housing development contractors, commercial/retail contractors, utility contractors, underground contractors, plumbing contractors, electrical contractors, sand and gravel pits, landscape companies, light duty construction companies, light duty mining operations, pool contractors, light duty excavation companies.
